Introduction of works

I use the realistic techniques of oil painting to express my feelings with objects, and delicately interpret the burdens and sorrows and joys of oriental women under the authoritarian system in the picture. With the turning of the clothes, I concentrated my mind and meticulously traced the dragon and phoenix patterns, flower and bird embroidery on the cloth, like the ancient female red needles moving between the embroidered surfaces, and pondered the ancient women's whole life with exhausting depictions. Constraint, the sad mood of being subdued and raised. "Embroidery, dead bones, flowers, birds and butterflies, wedding dresses and phoenix crowns, and women..." These objects are like fragments of memory, which are constantly copied and borrowed, and reset in the painting environment I constructed, like a dream, half fake and real. It seems to use paintings to interpret the injustice of one's own female experience to the traditional shackles, lamenting the impermanence of life in a classical, subtle but powerful way, and telling the feelings, love and life of oriental women.

Introduction to Taiwan Academy of Fine Arts

The Taiwan Academy of Fine Arts was established in 2010. Its purpose is to engage in art creation and theoretical research, promote domestic industry-university-government cooperation, expand international and cross-strait art exchanges, and share resources, so as to promote and enhance the development of art in Taiwan. It was initiated by professors such as Wang Xiuxiong, Liao Xiuping, Fu Shen, He Huaishuo, Jiang Mingxian, Huang Guangnan and other alumni of Taiwan Normal University who are well-known in the domestic art academic circle and painting circle. The first academician members are composed of 18 elite professors, outstanding achievements and influencers in the art circle in Taiwan.

The establishment of the Academy of Fine Arts is based on the contribution of the "Japanese Academy of Fine Arts" with a history of more than 100 years, mainly professors from Tokyo University of the Arts, to the Japanese art world, as well as the cultivation and support of young painters. Since the Academia Sinica does not have the establishment of academicians of fine arts , the Taiwan Academy of Fine Arts expects members to be selected with the title of "Academician of Fine Arts" to make up for the lack of official establishment. And the academicians all have the qualifications of professors and academic supervisors, and they are even internationally famous. In addition to international exchanges, it will cooperate closely with the art academic circle in the future and accept research commissions from industry, academia and officials.

"Taiwan Academy of Fine Arts" consists of six major departments, namely "Research and Development", "Academic Exchange", "Teaching Promotion", "Publishing", "Cultural and Creative Industry" and "Exhibition". The "Research and Development Department" will be divided into two groups: "Creation" and "Theory"; the "Academic Exchange Department" will promote exchanges or establish partnerships with well-known international and cross-strait art schools, institutions or groups; the "Teaching Promotion Department" will implement The training of high-level art talents; the "Publishing Department" publishes the creative and theoretical research results of academicians, and publishes Chinese and foreign art journals or treatises; the "Cultural and Creative Industry Department" promotes Taiwan's cultural and creative industries, trains talents, and integrates resources; " Exhibition Department”, the short-term plan is to establish an exhibition center, and the medium-to-long-term plan is to establish a cultural relic art museum or art gallery.

The "Taiwan Academy of Fine Arts" was originally affiliated to the "Paris Cultural and Educational Foundation" when it was established. The first academician exhibition was held at the Zhongshan National Gallery of the Sun Yat-Sen Memorial Hall in Taipei in March 2010, and then a large-scale exhibition was planned in 2011 at the National Art Museum of China in Beijing. Grand held. In May of the same year, academicians Wang Xiuxiong, Liao Xiuping, Jiang Mingxian, Zhong Youhui, Lin Pansong, and entrepreneur Liao Xiuqian jointly raised funds and applied to the Cultural Affairs Bureau of the Taipei City Government to establish the "Taiwan Academy of Fine Arts Culture and Art Foundation".
