🌌《宇宙洪荒－林郁廷數位創作個展》創作理念
天地玄黃，宇宙洪荒。此為《千字文》開篇之句，也是林郁廷創作思維的原點。
本展以《易經》「天玄地黃」的宇宙觀為根基，從混沌初啟的象徵出發，探索人類在科技文明之中的精神原鄉。
在「天」與「地」的對應中，林郁廷以「玄」之深遠與「黃」之溫潤，象徵理性與感性的兩極；
在「宇宙洪荒」的主題下，他以數位筆刷重構光與氣的流動，將傳統筆墨的氣韻轉化為數位的節奏，
呈現出由無形生有、由混沌而成序的過程。
藝術家長期以「模擬」為創作核心，關注科技時代中「真實」與「虛擬」的邊界。
AI與演算法的出現，改變了藝術生產的結構，也挑戰了「創作者」的定義。
然而，林郁廷認為，科技並非取代人心，而是映照人心——
藝術的未來不在於技術的更迭，而在於意識的回歸。
創作，是一場對存在的觀照，一次在光影、色層與數據之間的冥想。
《宇宙洪荒》不只是數位藝術的展示，更是一場精神的重構。
它讓觀者在視覺的無垠中感知到那一縷「玄之又玄」的微光，
那是從太古洪荒延續至今的創造之心——
亦是人類在數位時代，重新理解自我與宇宙關係的起點。
🌌 Artist Statement
Lin Yu-Ting｜Where Chaos Becomes Cosmos
“Heaven is dark and Earth is yellow; the universe vast and primal.”
This ancient line from The Thousand Character Classic forms the conceptual core of Lin Yu-Ting’s creative practice. Drawing inspiration from the cosmology of the I Ching, Lin reinterprets the moment of creation—the transformation from chaos to order—as both a visual and philosophical journey.
Through digital brushwork that emulates the spirit of traditional ink, Lin constructs a space where light, color, and rhythm intertwine like the breath of heaven and earth. Each image becomes an act of meditation: a negotiation between algorithmic precision and human emotion, between the virtual and the tangible.
In the era of artificial intelligence, Lin views technology not as a replacement for the artist’s mind, but as its mirror. The true essence of creation, he believes, lies not in the mastery of tools but in the awakening of consciousness.
Where Chaos Becomes Cosmos is thus a contemplation of existence—an invitation to rediscover the subtle harmony between humanity, technology, and the universe.

【展覽簡介】
「天地玄黃，宇宙洪荒」——出自《千字文》的開篇名句，象徵宇宙自混沌初啟、萬物由無形而生。
台南應用科技大學美術系助理教授、藝術家 林郁廷 以此為題，
推出個人第22次個展《宇宙洪荒》，於台南應用科技大學藝術中心展出。
本展延續林郁廷對《易經》宇宙觀與當代科技社會的長期探索，
透過數位筆刷對抗AI生成技術,模擬筆墨氣韻，描繪天地交感、能量流動的原始秩序。
畫面中的「玄」象徵理性的深遠與未知，「黃」代表感性的厚實與生成，
兩者於光影交錯間相互滲透，寓意人心在科技洪流中對「本源」的追尋與省思。
【創作理念】
林郁廷指出，《宇宙洪荒》不只是古典語彙的再詮釋，
更是一場關於「人心與科技」的精神辯證。
在AI主導的時代，創作已超越技術的展示，而是關乎人類如何在數據與虛擬影像中，
重新尋回存在的意識。
他表示：「AI 並非取代人，而是對人的映照。藝術的未來，不在於技術的更迭，而在於心靈的覺醒。」
作品透過光影、色層與節奏的流動，展現從混沌到秩序的生成之美，
邀請觀者在真實與虛擬的交界中，重新感受創造的詩性力量。
【藝術家簡介】
林郁廷 Lin Yu-Ting
現任台南應用科技大學美術系助理教授、版印中心主任。
專長為數位藝術創作與AI視覺研究，
以「模擬而非複製」為核心理念，探索科技與人性之間的感知邊界。
其作品融合《易經》哲理、光影結構與詩性符號，呈現理性與感性的平衡美學。
截至2025年，林郁廷已舉辦 22次個展，
展覽足跡橫跨台北、台南、高雄與台中，形成完整的數位藝術創作脈絡。

【Exhibition Overview】
“Heaven is dark, and Earth is yellow; the universe vast and primal.”
This opening verse from The Thousand Character Classic symbolizes the moment of cosmic awakening—
the birth of order from chaos.
In 2025, Lin Yu-Ting, Assistant Professor of Fine Arts and Director of the Print Art Center at Tainan University of Technology, presents his 22nd solo exhibition, Where Chaos Becomes Cosmos.
The exhibition reinterprets the cosmological philosophy of the I Ching through digital art, exploring how consciousness and creativity evolve within an age shaped by artificial intelligence.
Through digital brushstrokes that emulate the breath and rhythm of traditional ink, Lin visualizes the interaction between “dark” and “yellow”—symbolic of intellect and emotion, void and matter.
The works invite viewers to witness the genesis of energy, where light, shadow, and data intertwine to echo the eternal harmony between humanity and the cosmos.
【Artist’s Concept】
Lin explains that Where Chaos Becomes Cosmos is not merely a reinterpretation of classical Chinese thought,
but a reflection on the human spirit in the era of AI.
“In the digital age, creation is no longer about technique, but about consciousness,” Lin states.
“AI does not replace the human; it mirrors the human. The future of art lies not in technology itself,
but in the awakening of the mind.”
His works transform the invisible into the visible, the mechanical into the poetic—
seeking balance between the precision of algorithms and the fluidity of intuition.
Through this process, Lin reimagines the “cosmos” as both a digital and spiritual space,
where creation becomes meditation and technology becomes empathy.
【About the Artist】
Lin Yu-Ting (b. Taiwan) is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Fine Arts at Tainan University of Technology,
where he also serves as Director of the Print Art Center.
Specializing in digital art and AI-driven visual creation,
Lin explores the philosophical relationship between technology, perception, and emotion.
His works merge the cosmological ideas of the I Ching with contemporary digital aesthetics,
transforming light, form, and rhythm into a poetic dialogue between human and machine.
To date, Lin has held 22 solo exhibitions across Taiwan,
including venues in Tainan, Taipei, Taichung, and Kaohsiung.
Each exhibition forms part of his ongoing journey to redefine digital art as a spiritual practice within a technological civilization.
