南應大美術系林郁廷老師個展--氳‧林郁廷數位影像創作個展

關於展出名稱「 氳  」 

我的上一個展覽名稱叫「 氤 」展出的內容主要是用ipad 的 app -procreate 繪製的圖畫，圖的形式表現暈染的霧氣雨一些表現性的線條，展出時輸出再布類與透明的軟性材質上，結合空間裝置，噴煙霧的設備，現場錄像投影(不斷重複的噴霧過程)與一些大大小小的物件，呈現時間、空間、造形與意識流動的過程，試圖將平面的影像以曲面與皺褶呈現，冰冷的機械語言與具有熱度的隨機性手繪如何達到平衡的實驗過程。

此次的展覽名稱則為「 氳 」， 「氤」「氳」兩字在辭典上經常並用，表示煙氣瀰漫的樣子，相關說明如下：

1. 古時指陰陽二氣交會和合的樣子。南朝陳．徐陵〈勸進梁元帝表〉：「自氤氳混沌之世，驪連、栗陸之君，卦起龍圖。」
2. 煙雲瀰漫的樣子。《聊齋志異．卷一．畫皮》：「少懈，則氣氤氳自縫中出。」
3. 形容香氣不絕。南朝梁．沈約〈芳樹〉詩：「氤氳非一香，參差多異色。」清．李漁《閒情偶寄．卷一○．器玩部．椅杌》：「焚此香也，自下而升者，能使氤氳透骨。」

此次的展覽

「 氳」則呈現 心理的霧氣瀰漫

 

新冠疫情改變了全世界人們的生活，對大自然與人以外的物種雖然得以休養生息，但身為人類的我們也在經歷一個戴著口罩不能以真面目看見人/被看見的日子。

我嘗試以社群媒體IG紀錄了一段生活的樣態，但影像的內容又不希望呈現太多可辨識的地域性，這些可能出現在你我他周遭的牆面，食物，植物，移動的人...透過IG APP内建的影像處理功能後製之後，上傳儲存；展覽前下載後，拼湊組合成某種造形語彙，訴說一段時間的心理樣態。

口罩雖然防護了我們不受到病毒的侵害，但也讓我們無法自在呼吸，特別是跑步時阻隔了部分氧氣，

視覺上口罩遮蔽了人們 一半的面容，也因此讓我們認不清彼此，阻礙了人臉的辨識度。

疫情的擔憂 也導致心理上的不暢快。

「 氳」呈現了在疫情下仍需自在生活的想望

About the exhibition name "氲"

The content of my last exhibition titled "Dyeing" was mainly pictures drawn with the ipad app -procreate. The form of the pictures showed smudged fog and rain with some expressive lines. During the exhibition, the output was re-fabricated and transparent. On the soft material, combining space installations, smoke-spraying equipment, live video projection (continuously repeated spraying process) and some large and small objects, presenting the process of time, space, shape and consciousness flow, trying to combine the plane image with the Surfaces and folds are presented, and the experimental process of how to balance the cold mechanical language and the hot random hand-painting.

The title of this exhibition is "氤". The words "氤ㄧㄣ" and "氲ㄩㄣ" are often used together in dictionaries to indicate the appearance of smoke. The relevant explanations are as follows:

The last exhibition "Thick Mist" presents a visual misty mist
In this exhibition, "Heavy Atmosphere" presents a psychological fog.

The new crown epidemic has changed the lives of people all over the world. Although species other than nature and people have been able to recuperate, as human beings, we are also a manager who wears masks and cannot see people with their true colors.

Although masks protect us from viruses, they also make us unable to breathe freely, especially when running, which blocks some oxygen.

Visually, masks cover half of people's faces, which makes us unable to recognize each other and hinders the recognition of human faces.

Worries about the epidemic also lead to psychological discomfort.

"氲" shows the desire to live comfortably despite the epidemic

這些作品都是我放置在IG上的照片，照片的拍攝對象是我在散步的過程中捕捉到身旁的角落，我戴著口罩，怕被他人傳染新冠病毒，也怕傳染給別人，但如果在比較沒有人的地方，看花、看草、看葉子、看樹、看石頭、看落花、看水流、看天空、經過操場、經過步道、經過草地、上下左右前後移動旋轉近拍遠拍這些光景，

感受我的移動過程，透過手機的螢幕觀看世界，拍攝流逝的一切，最後我的作品沒有依照攝影的時間序列，而是隨機拉大縮小拼湊。

These works are all photos I put on IG. The subjects of the photos are the corners I captured while walking.
